Hong Kong shares opened 0.58 percent higher Friday following a record close on Wall Street, despite Greek debt talks ending without a deal, stoking fears of an exit from the eurozone.
The Hang Seng Index added 155.71 points to 26,850.37.
But the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index fell 1.22 percent, or 58.32 points, to 4,727.04.
The Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China’s second exchange, lost 1.48 percent, or 43.05 points, to 2,870.55.
