Hong Kong Stocks Up 1.03% at Break

Hong Kong stocks rallied more than one percent Friday morning, in line with healthy gains in China on easing concerns about a renewed mainland market rout while the Greece debt crisis also recedes.

The benchmark Hang Seng index rose 1.03 percent, or 258.38 points, to 25,421.16 by the break on turnover of HK$ 46.88 billion (US$ 6.05 billion).
