S&P 500 Futures in Wait-and-See Mode as ECB Takes Center Stage

U.S. index futures hovered near unchanged levels, with investors turning their focus to central-bank policy after a rebound pushed stocks towards this year’s high.

Standard & Poor’s 500 Index contracts expiring in March rose 0.1 percent to 1,982 at 10:19 a.m. in London. Dow Jones Industrial Average futures were also virtually flat. Updates from the European Central Bank before the start of U.S. trading today and from the Federal Reserve next week may give investors cues on the potential for further stimulus and the path of interest rates.
